Carlos Rojas – Producer

Carlos obtained his undergraduate degree in Mass Communications Studies and undertook his graduate studies in TV/Film Production/Film. He supplemented his studies in Mexico media industries, in the areas of television, music & film production. Carlos is well versed in all media and marketing including radio, television, film and digital technology for the internet.

Based in Chicago since 1991, he has been a producer for several top production and post production companies. Producing jobs for national advertising agencies such as Leo Burnett, JWT, FCB, DDB to name a few. He has worked with many Fortune 500 companies and organizations such as McDonald's, Gatorade, Pepsi Cola, Anhueser Busch, The Chicago Bulls, The Chicago White Sox, Lands End, Sears, National Council of La Raza and The Consulate of Mexico in Chicago. He has worked with many celebrities including Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman, George Forman, Spkie Lee, William Shatner, Billy Ray Cyrus and Enrique Iglesias.

Carlos has been executive producer for the publishing of the Bulls Portrait of an Era hardcover Book which made it to the NY Times Best Seller List as well as the Alma Awards and the Hispanic Heritage Foundation's television awards shows.


Kim DeJesus - Client Relations

Kim DeJesus was born and raised in Wheaton, Illinois. Being immersed all of her life in theatre, dance and visual art, she has always felt most at home in the arts. As a child, she fell in love with performing in community/school theatre and knew from a young age she wanted to pursue acting.

DeJesus received the Katherine K. Herberger painting scholarship to Arizona State University where she studied painting and drawing and graduated with a BFA. She furthered her education with a post-graduate Art Education degree from North Central College.  Kim has trained at some of the best acting schools, and with several of the top acting coaches, in the business. She is also an experienced print model and has been in numerous print campaigns, magazines and catalogs.

Kim has appeared in over a dozen local, regional, and national commercials, as well as several independent films. Look for her in the upcoming Bollywood action thriller film Dhoom 3 (opening December 20, 2013) and the independent feature film comedy, Kathryn Upside Down (2014). You might also recognize her from Season 23 of CBS TV’s EmmyAward-winning series The Amazing Race.

Kim  married professional MLB player David DeJesus and together  they formed The DeJesus Family Foundation, which aids families in crisis who do not have access to basic human needs.  Kim’s greatest joy in life is being a mom to their son Kingston.

Barry has established prominent commercial photography studios in St. Louis, Chicago, Boston & New York City since 1975...where he has photographed primarily sports, lifestyle portraiture and fashion advertising, for numerous national campaigns, for clientele such as Gatorade, Nike, Callaway Golf, Grainger, Lands End, Filenes, Quaker, Motorola,  McDonald's, NBA, MLB and NFL projects - through national Ad Agencies such as JWT, Foote Cone & Belding, DDB and Leo Burnett.

His portrait work with notables such as Mayor Daley, Jerry Reinsdorf, Emily Pulitzer and with supermodels including Cindy Crawford, Iman, Kathy Ireland; sports icons Michael Jordan, Calvin Johnson and Greg Norman led to the publishing of his hardcover Chicago Bulls portrait book which made the NY Times best seller list. His images have also appeared in publications such as Time Magazine, Sports Illustrated, Town and Country, Rolling Stone, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Sporting News, The Washington Post, NY Times and many others.  

Barry's carefully constructed painterly compositions are created by applying his vast experience in studio set and location lighting, combined with interpretive collaboration, resulting in capturing impactful and compelling imagery.

Derek Elz - Director, Videographer

Derek as a director, director of photography, writer, editor utilizes his talent and tenacity to create nimble projects that ring with startling visuals, teeming with authentic emotional spaces. He graduated from Webster University with a degree in film production, specializing in cinematography and script writing. He then moved to Los Angeles to pursue work in film and television. During his years in Los Angeles he worked continuously on feature films, television, music videos and commercials. Honing his craft at Warner Brothers Studios, CBS, and on programs for the Discovery Channel, as well as many indie projects.

Since moving back to the Midwest to be with family he has thrived as a freelance film maker. Derek has directed or shot five indie feature films over the past eight years. In 2008 he won Best Cinematographer at the St. Louis Film Critics Association for the feature Mosquito Kingdom. His feature Dictator of Taste is a cutting edge documentary on European iron curtain artists who exist beyond the "margin of the margin of culture". The documentary aired repeatedly on Hungarian National Television and other European and world territories. Derek has created over a dozen shorts and documentaries with world class artists like Maya Lin, and Richard Serra. His feature Just Shy of Being is an intriguing docu-fiction which he wrote, directed and was director of photography. Derek also has worked for numerous local and national clients such as Google, Axe, ATT, Pepsi, BMW, Mini Cooper and Sprint. He recently collaborated with the NFL, directing a sports series starring Calvin Johnson and Matthew Stafford of the Detroit Lions. He was also the director of photography on a Children's television series and teaches film making at the university level.

As a director he is an emotional expressionist who is intent on running a set that is happy and creative. Among Derek's greatest talents is his keen visual style, one that is richly inventive and has the sensitivity of a painters eye. He considers himself simply a film craftsman with a great work ethic who operates with an intense zeal to make each frame better than the last.

Rob Gold -  Marketing, Producer

Rob is a producer, writer, and strategic marketer who is responsible for business development and account management. 

Ever since Rob was a little(r) man, he has been enamored with television, video, film and photography. Upon graduating with a Master's in Integrated Marketing from Northwestern University, he took his passion for the visual arts and combined it with strategic marketing communication to create targeted, meaningful messages that have resonated with audiences across a variety of consumer and business to business sectors.

Clients have included Wrigley, CBS, At&T and Sears.
